Only you decide whether your child will travel forward or rear facing. The DUALFIX PLUS model is rotatable by a full 360 degrees, so it gives you maximum flexibility on the go and at the same time makes it easier to seat, fasten and remove the child from/into the car.

Comfortable rotation
By pressing the button, you turn the DUALFIX PLUS car seat towards the open door of the vehicle, which makes it easier for you to place the child in the car seat and secure it with the seat belt. Then turn the seat back to the desired position, the green indicator indicates the set position to the management.

Change orientation by turning
DUALFIX PLUS is always facing the right direction. You can use the seat up to a child weighing up to 20 kg. Once the child is big enough, you can turn the car seat forward-facing by pressing the button. Thanks to the short anti-rotation protection, there is more space for the legs and therefore more comfort.

360 rotation
Thanks to the 360 rotation, it is easy to turn the car seat from the rear-facing position to the rear-facing position and vice versa, without having to re-install it in the car. In addition, the car seat can be easily turned towards the open car door and this facilitates handling when placing the child in the car seat and then removing the child from the car.

New ISOFIX connectors
DUALFIX PLUS is equipped with new ISOFIX connectors. The connectors can be operated independently of each other, making the installation of the car seat even easier.

Extended position against the direction of travel
Rear-facing car seats offer the highest protection in the event of a frontal impact, which is the most common type of accident on the road. In the event of a frontal impact in a rear-facing car seat, the force of the impact is directed to the back of the seat, while the remaining energy is evenly distributed between the head, neck and upper body.
If a child is traveling in a forward-facing car seat, the impact energy is transferred unevenly across the car seat structure and restraint system, which can result in more energy being applied to the child's body.
We recommend using the rear-facing orientation as long as possible.

Adjustable to multiple positions

The soft, padded sides form a protective layer that absorbs the force of a side impact and thus reduces the risk of injury to the child.

The padded headrest and straps are easily adjustable with one hand to adapt to your growing child. Before you seat the child, make sure the headrest is in the correct position - just above the child's shoulders.

5-point safety belt
We believe that a 5-point safety belt is the safest way to fasten a child in a car seat, as it ensures complete protection and stability for the child. In the event of an accident, the seat belt distributes the force to 5 points, two on the shoulders, two on the hips and one on the buckle between the legs. It helps to protect your child from impact from any side.

High-quality belt padding
The belts easily adapt to the child's chest. They help to limit the child's movement in the event of an impact and, in combination with the 5-point safety belt, provide even more protection.

Easily removable cover
Anything can happen along the way. Drinks may be spilled or a child may become nauseous from the motion of the car. That's why Britax has designed a car seat cover that is washable and easily removable without having to remove the straps, so you can quickly fix the problem and continue on your way.

Height adjustable support leg
The support leg provides additional stability of the car seat by leaning against the car floor. It minimizes movement and rotation, and also reduces the force of forward movement on the child in the event of an impact. The leg is height adjustable for safe installation. An intuitive indicator tells you when the support leg is firmly placed on the floor of your vehicle.

Newborn insert

The components of the DUALFIX PLUS car seat are an insert for newborns with foam padding that absorbs energy, free space is thus limited and the child lies in a more comfortable and ergonomic position.
