When to use the cocoon?

For parents looking for a way to phase out swaddling, the cocoon is an excellent choice. It allows your baby to calmly get used to sleeping without being fully swaddled. Indeed, as soon as your little one (usually around 6 months) can roll over, it is important to stop being swaddled immediately as this can be dangerous. It is therefore useful to start in time to get rid of swaddling and for this the cocoon is a very suitable tool. Your baby will still feel safe in the cocoon, but as soon as he or she shows the first signs of being able to roll over, the baby should be able to move his or her arms freely outside the cocoon (i.e. open the snaps for the arms).
